My friend thinks I’m an Everyday Heroine because… of my passion to make a difference and the drive to make it happen!

My favourite Young Estate character is…  Savannah Blanc because… Who doesn’t like someone who’s ‘wild and optimistic’?! And she’s into looking after our beautiful country.

If I drank a potion of anti-humble tea I would tell you that I think my biggest achievement is… Getting a bunch of people excited about urban food growing with Urban Pantry.

I feel inspired by… People who are passionate and find ways to do things that most people would think were too difficult to try.

If I got to choose a superpower, I’d definitely sign up for… Empowerment-power – the power to cause others to realise what they’re capable of! If everyone believed they could have a positive impact on the world, and acted on that belief, imagine how great things would be!

Some women I think are pretty fabulous are… Juliet Arnott, founder of Rekindle Furniture; Chloe Waretini, founder of the Waitakere Festival and Purposive Collective and a close personal friend; Silvia Zuur, founder of Chalkle; and Pippa Coom, representing a sustainable vision for Auckland in local government. And I could go on!

My favourite tipple is… It depends on the season and the context, but I do love a good New Zealand Pinot Noir.

And my perfect spot to drink that tipple would have to be… In front of a fire, in winter, in Central Otago.

If I could change one thing in the world, it would be… Learning about how to look after our world would be as integral to education as reading, writing and maths.

A little piece of advice I’ve been given and try to remember is… You can do pretty much anything you set your mind to – it’s just a matter of deciding what you want to do and taking the first step.

My favourite Young Estate character is…  Ruby Rosé because… she’s nice and summery

If I drank a potion of anti-humble tea I would tell you that I think my biggest achievement is… Sailing from New Zealand to Tonga, Fiji, Tuvalu, Kiribati, Marshall Islands

I feel inspired by… Nature

Some women I think are pretty fabulous are… Maya Angelou, Mother Theresa, and my Mum

When I’m 6 feet under, I’d like to think I’ve made a difference by…  Being me, and helping as best I can

My favourite tipple is… Sometimes you just can’t beat H20

And my perfect spot to drink that tipple would have to be… On sand

If I could change one thing in the world, it would be… Reducing consumption, focusing on the things that make us truly happy.

If I got to choose a superpower, I’d definitely sign up for… Flying or breathing underwater, although for now I’ll stick to kitesurfing and snorkeling

A little piece of advice I’ve been given and try to remember is… Live, love, laugh
